The Milwaukee Wheelchair Bucks are competing in their 4th season in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA). The Wheelchair Bucks went undefeated and won their 1st NWBA National Championship in 2002. The Wheelchair Bucks epitomize the successfull intergration of individuals with disabilities into professional careers, competitive sports and the community. The Wheelchair Bucks players used their school demo program to show the inclusive use of sports to overcome obstacles, misperceptions and convey the message that it is ability, not disability that counts.
